Anti working class character of Pakistani State once again came to the front when a peaceful protest of nurses in Karachi was crushed by brutal police oppression.

Nurses were protesting peacefully for their legitimate demands of better service structure and increase in wages. Authorities used water cannons and tear gas to disperse the protesters leaving many injured.

Nurses and paramedical unions all over the country has condemned this act of violence by police and authorities. Pakistan Trade Union Defence Campaign condemns brutality of state against nurses and paramedical staff and would use all possible means to raise the voice against such acts of state oppression.

The Struggle continues!
